Our Shrine

In our indigenous Yoruba religion we are using sacred objects, nuts, herbs, fruits and many more to communicate with the spiritual world. All these sacred items and our communication with them needs a room. We have created this sacred room, we have designed it and we have been using it for many years.  

Our challenge - Our Vision

Presently our Yoruba shrine is in a dilapidated state due to water that is entering the place and we are currently unable to worship there. The shrine is in urgent need of renovation and refurbishment. Together with it, we are planning to extend the building to create a guest apartment. This will enable people to take part in spiritual retreats, to be initiated and to familiarise themselves with other activities of the association. The estimated cost is around €70,000, a sum that we cannot raise on our own.
