High priest initiation

Baba Olosun was born as priest of the indigenous Yoruba religion. Since then he has been initiated into many aspects of it. In 1998 he was initiated ans installed as High priest of Ifá (Irunmole of knowledge and wisdom). He is also a priest of Osun, Yemanja, Sango, Ogun, Iya, Eegun, Oke, Obatala, Egbe and Ori.

Counselling for a president

Baba Olosun has been consulted in many situations. The former President of Slovenia, Janez Drnovšek, called on him in 2006 for advice on personal and governmental matters.

During Osun festival

One of Baba Olosun`s mayor role is to act as leading prriest during the annual Osun festival in Osogbo/Osun State/ Nigeria. Osun is the Irunmole represented by river and women. She comprises all aspects of women including their rights, power, labour, beauty and so on. Also women with difficulties to get pregnanant pray during the Osun festival to be able to get children.

International Expert

Due to his wide and international experience as a priest of Yoruba indigenous religion mixed with a broad academic background , he is regularly called by members of the Yoruba indigenous religion in diaspora for councelling, cleansing, healing, conferences and leading Yoruba indigenous festivals, e.g. in Germany, Mexico, US, Venezuela, Brazil.
